About Me
Background, interests, and what drives me
I'm an IT professional with a passion for cybersecurity and hands-on infrastructure. Currently pursuing my B.S. in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance at Western Governors University, I bring real-world experience from IT risk management and advanced technical support roles.
My homelab is where I put theory into practice — running a Raspberry Pi with Pi-hole for DNS-level filtering, Unbound for recursive DNS resolution, a full Prometheus and Grafana monitoring stack, and n8n for workflow automation. I've built automated security reporting via Telegram bots, implemented packet capture analysis with tshark, and configured secure remote access through Cloudflare Tunnels.
I hold CompTIA A+ and ITF+ certifications and am currently working toward my Network+. Whether it's conducting vendor risk assessments at work or hardening my home network on the weekend, I'm always looking for ways to deepen my security knowledge and build more resilient systems.

Beyond Tech
When I'm not working on my homelab or writing automation scripts, I enjoy exploring new technologies, learning about network security, and staying up to date with the latest in open-source infrastructure tooling. I believe in building things that are reliable, maintainable, and genuinely useful.
